I’ve been an avid sports and music fan for many years and has spent almost an arm and a leg on tickets to those events.  Though I don’t regret going to all of them, the money I would have saved could have made a real difference in my life.

Now that I’ve retired from working, my income is lower because I’m living on my pension.  Instead of missing my favorite sports events and concerts, but I’ve come up with a creative solution to my problem.

The local arena has been looking for volunteers for events and I thought this would be a great way for me to see the shows and save my money.  I know it sounds strange but they are not paying people to work there, but they have been having financial difficulties and are unable to pay for the extra staff that they require.

I don’t mind not getting paid for the work I do because I get to see the things I love each and every day I am at the arena.  If you ask me, it is a dream come true.

For many years, I have always felt that someone in an MLM program was out to get me.  It seemed that they always had something bigger and better than before and that you just needed to buy it.  I always felt pressured by my friends that were in those types of companies to the point where lost some friendships because they were trying to hard sell me.

It wasn’t until Steve introduced me to liquid vitamins that my opinion that I had for so long was changed.  You see, I struggled for many years to try and swallow my multivitamin each day.  But, when I try the new liquid vitamins from GBG, I was released from one of the most challenging aspects of my daily life.

It was at this point that I decided that my point of view regarding MLMs was wrong.  Sure, there are some bad ones out there, but there are good ones too.

When I was a child, my parents made sure that I learned the piano.  Not only did they want me to learn it so that I could play it in church, but they figured that it would be a great way to develop creativity.

They were right.  Not only do I have an appreciation of music, but my mind is very creative as well.  As an adult and a parent, I want my children to have the same opportunity to learn and master piano as I did as a child.

So, we have been trying to find a piano teacher in town that has the experience we are looking for.  It turns out that our neighbor is a master pianist, and I think that we will be sending the kids over there for lessons.  I just hope that they enjoy playing the piano as much as I did - it is a very big part of my life.

Today I had some time to read the paper while I ate breakfast.  Unfortunately with the busyness of my life, I don’t usually get that opportunity.  I would guess that I maybe have this opportunity once per month, so I thought I should take it.

Skimming through the paper, there wasn’t much that caught my eye.  I was interested in the new building permit issued to a major hotel chain to build in town because I know there are not enough hotels in out town.

There was also an interesting article about a Minnesota Criminal Lawyer defending a public official in a fraud case.  It was looking like the public official was going to get off, but it makes me sad at the number of times that these types of cases are occurring these days.  It makes you wonder how many honest people are honestly out there anymore.

Of course, my read ended with reading the comics in the paper.  I always get a laugh from reading them.  But, I should get going, I have a lot of work on my plate today.

I can honestly say that I will be one of the first people around to own an OLED TV. I can say this because a lot of people do not know what they are and I have been wanting one since I found out about this new light source. I think even I will be surprised at how OLED will take over the world once it is introduced.

I was lucky enough to be at a trade show and I got to meet the XEL 1 face to face. That is the OLED TV that Sony introduced last October. It is not yet available to consumers, but I will buy one as soon as they are. I am trying to be patient, but I really want that TV and I will do whatever it takes to get one.

I have subscribed to an OLED resource website in hopes of finding out when they will make the TV available. I thought that it was very good news when the first cell phone became available. That has to mean that the TVs are not too far off.
