While I was living in New York, I decided that I needed a website to help showcase and sell the photographs that I took with my camera. I figured that I could get a good price for some of the shots I have taken and make a little bit of money on the side doing wedding photography.
I knew that it wasn’t a web designer and I didn’t have the time to learn how to do it. So instead of buying some cheesy software to do it myself, I hired a New York web designer to create a site for me.
I went in for consultation and he asked me what I was looking for, some samples of my photography, and what I was expecting of the website. From this information, they were able to come up with a rough draft of what they envisioned my website should look like. We made some revisions and they got to work creating the final site.
When the final site was delivered to me, I was impressed with both the look and quality of their design. It was very close to what I had envisioned and I knew that my business would be more successful with the quality of design that they provided me. I definitely made the right decision.
