Traveling with a Medical Condition

Just before we were going to go to India, I was really sick.  So sick in fact that my doctor didn’t even want me to go, but we had a wedding to go to, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world.  He suggested that I make arrangements to have a doctor over there follow up on my sickness to make sure that I was getting better and not worse.

That was all that he asked of me, but he was unable to give me any suggestions of where I could find the information that I needed.  I had no idea where to look either, but I thought that the solution would come to me if I looked on the Internet.

So, I did a search for medical tourism India to see if that would help me connect with a doctor.  I was able to find some listings of doctors in India, and after a few phone calls, I was able to book an appointment with one while I was going to be there.

Not only did I receive excellent medical attention while I was there, but by the time I had the appointment, I wasn’t sick anymore.  All in all, it was a great trip.

Met My Wife Online

I know that so many people think that online dating is just a bunch of weirdos trying to find someone - whether to date or stalk.  Now, there are many of those types of people using sites that allow you to find local singles online.

But I have to argue this point, and say that they actually work.  You see, I met my wife online, and I haven’t looked back.

You see, about five years ago, I had hit rock bottom.  I was out of a bad relationship for about six months when I found myself out in the dating scene again.  After a couple of failed attempts at finding someone, I decided that I was going to get out of the dating scene because nothing was working.

But a good buddy of mine suggested that I put a profile on the many free online dating sites to see if I could find anyone.  Out of all the responses and about five dates, I ended up finding my wife and I haven’t looked back.

So, if you have had no luck on the dating scene, put a profile up online - you never know what might come your way.

Learning From the Best

When I decided that I wanted to get into trading, I knew that I had to learn from the best.  Whatever the cost of the training might be, I knew that if I didn’t learn from the best that I would be headed for trouble.  Free advice is usually the worst advice, and honestly, I don’t mind paying to learn what I need to learn the first time.

So, I went to look for the best of the best, and the trail lead me to Darlene Nelson.  I found her website, and that is where I came across a wealth of information regarding the best strategies to use when trading stocks.

I also picked up a copy of her book, Stock Split Secrets, to learn some insider techniques when it comes to trading stocks.

Though I haven’t had the opportunity to meet her in person, I know that the wealth of information that she has given me (through her site and book) is second to none.  There is just something truly great that comes from learning from the best.

Profiting from Artistic Talents

For as long as I can remember, I have been good at drawing.  From an early age, it was readily apparent that I was able to draw a lot better than my peers, and my parents encouraged me to develop my skills.  To them, I was their "little artist".

As I entered high school, I had the opportunity to take a graphics arts class that changed my life.  Our teacher had worked in industry as part of a professional logo design service, and he was responsible for the look of the many business logos that were in our town.

He encouraged me to pursue art as a career, and when I realized that I had a great eye for design, I knew that I had to follow my passion.

Now, years later, I still do what I love - drawing and creating art for businesses.  It is great that I was able to profit from my artistic talents.

Earning Accessories

When my daughter got a PSP for her birthday, I thought that she was going to explode. She had been asking for one for a few years, and we had finally decided that it was the right time to get one. She had proven to us that she could be responsible with both her belongings and with her time.

The one thing that we were not counting on was the cost of the games and accessories that she would want to go along with it. We decided that if she wanted free PSP stuff that she was going to have to earn it. I don’t think that the house has ever been as clean as it is when she wants a new game.

I am glad that she enjoys it and I am equally glad that it is not something that she grew bored of after the first few months. It has come in handy on long car rides and I hope it is something she will find useful for years to come.
