To provide stable flooring for my livestock, I have made use of Corbro as stable flooring. This I did after knowing its different benefits from a website on the internet called www.corbro.com. The site is an excellent source of information on different materials available for stable matt.
Corbro comes in two different thicknesses, C1 and C2. C1 is of 31 mm thickness while C2 is of 52 mm thickness. It must be noted that both the types provide the same kind of comfort level for the horses and provides comfort of 600 mm clean fresh straw. However, I have used the C2 mats. This is a 52 mm thickness product that has been made for the stable floor, veterinary crushes, foaling boxes, and the walls and floors of recovery rooms. It must be noted that C2 is available for over 10 years and is being used across the world at famous stables as well as studs. One good point is that C2 has cross channels as well as vent holes that follow all the hygiene needs of vet and quarantine regulations. One of the reasons that attracted my attention to the material is the bacteria retarding property of the product.
