My best friend just bought her own house. She has saved so much for this house because she knew that it would be a good investment. Living alone is quite easy for someone who enjoys the free-living status. Getting married soon was actually giving her anxiety attack that is why she is savoring the life on her own. And so she went on and bought the house for this surreal experience. Like any other beginning in her life, I was invited to be part of it. The house blessing was scheduled a month before because she jokingly told me to let me think of my gift for her. Of course I did think about it even if she did tell me that. It was hard for me to give people gifts which I thought they would really like and be of use for them. The first thing that came in mind was home furnishings of course. In her previous apartment I have seen many appliances so that was a thought cancelled. She also splurged on bed sheets because she sees it as a reward to even sleep. Her beautiful bed sheets are a good way to invite her to bed. But she does not have a good set of table ware. Beautiful table wares I saw from Ikea are Indian but they are quite expensive. I searched for India shopping and stumbled on Shalin India. The designs were great and carefully crafted by connoisseurs. They were the best I saw and my best friend was thrilled to use them.
